Sometimes the way to finding out who you are is to start all over again..I wouldn’t call it reinventing yourself..but more like picking up the pieces you didn’t see or missed out on last time.

When you can..get on a plane, train, bus, boat. bicycle….whatever you choose and go to a place where no one knows your name, your past, your mistakes, your flaws, your dreams, your present.
Go to a place where no one knows your name— no one can hold anything against you and you do not have to prove yourself to anyone.

How would life continue to be worth something more in the end if we just drop all and any expectations we have on ourselves, others, and the world? Expecting things to happen in our lives is what keeps us going for so long..it is in a way, our incentive to strive for certain things (i.e. - go to college, to get a degree, to get a job, to become financially secure)
But it’s difficult because, if you’re going to live your life expecting things, you have to realize that you’ll have to expect the best and the worst in any given scenario.
